In a day full of incredible highlights, Popmania’s performance during our wedding reception was without a doubt one of them. We’ve lost count of how many of our friends and family have said to us just how good they were. Dan, Greg and Mark, were such nice guys; professional, responsive, accommodating and incredibly helpful in the planning and run up to the big day, and of course on the day itself. We knew we wanted a band that could deliver a diverse repertoire, fun party favourites from across all eras but particularly as well, a great selection of more alternative, rock and pop punk songs. Popmania delivered on all fronts, playing three energetic sets, performing a perfect mix of songs with great charisma and stage presence, resulting in amazing energy on the dance floor that just kept increasing until the end of the night. Our dance floor was packed and absolutely bumping. We’d also provided three song requests, with the expectation that the guys would learn one of them to add to their repertoire. From the first contact Dan and the guys were professional and easy to communicate with. They have a great song list that covers a range of genres and eras so you can tailor the set to your own preferences. Even with 3 band members they have a really deep, live sound and great energy that really rocked our dancefloor and set off a super fun night. So many of our guests told us they loved the band and that it was the most fun wedding they'd ever been to - so what more can I say except don't hesitate to book Popmania for yours! Cheers, Tom - 11th May 2018 Popmania were perfect for our wedding day. Very professional and they set up really quietly which helped in a marquee reception! Clear professionals they knew exactly what music would get everyone on the dance floor, the eldest being 96.... performance was flawless and they were easy to work with, there was no last minute stresses and they knew exactly what to do to get the party started. They were fun, enthusiastic, very musical, friendly, high energy and professional, and not to mention very stylish! They had a really good choice of songs, from the 60s to present, rock and pop classics and some great mash ups. We had guests from ages 1 to 80-something and Popmania had something for everyone. Our party was on a boat and there were some last minute time changes which cut their set-up time a little, but the band were punctual and flexible with the changes. If you get to see their short video on their website, this is a true reflection of their impressive repertoire and sound.
