Skip Jacks 7 are a 7-piece party band from London and Sussex. The band offer a mix of 90s classics, dance, hip hop, funk, old school rock and pop, and chart hits. The line-up includes male and female vocals, sax, trumpet, guitar, bass, drums and keys. The band regularly play weddings, parties, and corporate events throughout the UK. They are based in London and Sussex so ideally suited to travelling throughout Oxford, Hampshire, Surrey, Essex and Kent too.
Experienced Musicians
The band all met when they studied at The Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford. They are each trained to a very high standard in their chosen instrument. The bands vocalist Nicole is a trained vocal coach and voice researcher. They have worked on theatre productions such as ‘Singin' in The Rain', played festivals including Camp Bestival, performed on live radio, and toured Europe with original bands. Between them they have a wealth of experience which is clear to see when you watch them perform.
Their set list is tried and tested and is sure to get your guests up and dancing! The Skip Jacks are ideal for entertaining at a classy corporate event or wedding that requires amazing party music to top the night off.
Standard Party Band Service
The Skip Jacks offer more live music as standard than most bands out there, with 3 x 45 minute sets. However, if you want even more music then just let us know as the band can usually accommodate at an additional fee.
Here is what the band will offer in a standard quote;
- 3 x 45 sets of live music between 8pm and midnight.
- Arrival at 6pm to set up and sound check by 7:30pm.
- Pre-set playlist between sets so you don't need to hire a DJ. The band can also take some requests in advance for this.
- First dance learnt for a wedding or one request for other events.
- Fully PAT certified equipment, PA and lighting.
- All travel costs.
- All necessary insurances to play at all UK wedding venues.
If you are looking for extra entertainment for your ceremony, drinks reception, photo hour, or wedding breakfast then just let us know as the band can offer varying line-ups to suit including an acoustic duo up to the full 7-piece for an additional hour of background music. The band's vintage folk style set is ideal for afternoon entertainment, and they can also provide an additional jazz set which works excellently as background music.
