Pro Wedding Musicians
The band have been together for a number of years and so have built up a high level of experience playing weddings and other important events where great music and reliability is key. The musicians have a high level of talent and each play various instruments. The line-up for the vintage sound includes, banjo, drums, acoustic guitar, ukelele and double bass with harmonised male vocals. The electric sound includes electric bass, 2 x electric guitars, harmonised male vocals and drums. Both line-ups are perfect to get people dancing separately or if you want the double set-up the band can do both styles at your event.Mumford and Sons Style
It is definitely all the rage at the moment for weddings to have something special for the entertainment in the evening. With artists such as The Lumineers, Mumford and Sons and even Avicii becoming popular for their style of folk and country wedding entertainment is following this trend.
We work with a few great Mumford and Sons style bands offering modern covers in a folky, vintage style. Here are some other links for you to check -

This band is totally amazing! They played at our party on Saturday and brought the house down, we were thrilled with them. So many people asked who they were and where we had found them and the praise is still coming in. The age range of guests spanned over 40 years and they literally had everyone up on the dance floor all night. They played exactly the right balance of current music and some classics but nothing cheesy…these guys are cool yet FUN!! The party was in our house. The band and the incredibly efficient and polite sound engineer Iain were great at setting up beforehand without fuss. - James & Emma – House Party, Surrey
True professionals from start to finish! One of the best bands I have seen live with great energy and personality. They even went the extra mile to learn and perform a perfect rendition of our first dance track. Book this band and you will not be disappointed. - Mark Hems – Wedding, Rivervale Barn, Hampshire
Uptown Folk provided a truly excellent show for our wedding. Their flexibility to accomodate our requests with setup, set list and use of the kit was much appreciated. Most importantly, the band are superb. Our guests all loved their work and everyone commented as much. We didn’t expect so many people to be dancing as long as they did. We would definitely book them again. cheers! - Tom & Laura – Wedding, Pennyhill Park Hotel & Spa, Surrey
