One By One consists of five passionate musicians, fronted by male and female vocals that provide live music to the highest standard. Known for their versatility and professionalism, One By One have become one of the UK’s leading live bands. The band are based in Hampshire but willing to travel throughout the UK for weddings and events.
The band are tight, groovy, well rehearsed and enthusiastic, and always interact with their audiences no matter how big or small getting even the most steadfast of seat warmers up on their feet. Their world class vocalist Rachael was a finalist on the BBC TV Show All Together Now.
Folk and Electric Styles
One By One offer two distinctive styles; A Rock/Pop band playing all the best floor fillers and a folk acoustic vintage styled ensemble featuring Banjo, Melodica and Double Bass, performing modern and classic hits in a Vintage style.
The band have a charismatic and captivating stage presence with a unique interaction with their audiences. When combined with a strong repertoire of songs, the dance floor is seldom empty. Adding a few of their own unique touches, the band offer a fresh approach to some of the best loved songs. Seamlessly transferring from one song to the next, One By One take the pros of a DJ and mix it with the live atmosphere generated by a solid live band.
Experienced Musicians
Having shared stages with Texas, The Darkness, Pixie Lott, Ray Davies (The Kinks), Roger Daltrey, Status Quo and Toploader, the members have become some of the south's most sort after musicians. They have also recorded with Bonnie Tyler, Tony Levin (Peter Gabriel, John Lennon), Geoff Downes (Asia, Buggles), Corrine Bailey Ray, Blake and actors from Glee.
One By One have played at some of the south's most prestigious venues. These include; The BIC, The Ritz, Boisdale, Hampton Court Palace, Goodwood racecourse, The Royal Opera House, The Savoy, Portsmouth Guildhall, Southampton Guildhall, The O2 in London, St Mary’s Stadium and Broadlands. Most recently, One By One’ opened the main stage at Victorious Festival sharing the stage with some of the biggest names in the industry.
They are flexible and aim to help you have the perfect evening so if you have any special ideas or themes do not hesitate to enquire as they will endeavour to fit with and accommodate your requirements.
Varying Line-ups for different events
This act can also offer an acoustic duo or chilled full band set for during a drinks reception or when your guests are eating dinner. They can also offer a wandering trio if needs be.
